Ana-Genesis is a new 501(c)(3) inter-cultural nonprofit organization devoted to faith founded, creation-based solutions that encourage joyful, sustainable lifestyles.
How We Work
Understanding that the needs of our neighborhoods are complex and there is increasing urgency in light of the Climate Crisis, Ana-Genesis has audaciously planned three simple goals to promote flourishing in our community.
Peaceful
Community
We support celebrating Diversity in Our Common Home by connecting through food, faith, language and fun! Our goal is for Memphis to become a more peaceful, welcoming city for everyone.
Zero Hunger
Delighting in Creation as we enjoy connecting to the planting, renewing and harvest. We work with houses of faith to help create Edible Gardens, Preserve and Serve Meals, and offer nutrition classes and workshops.
Zero Waste
Preserving, reusing, restyling, and remaking old items into new things, reducing waste and sparking creative joy. Zero waste is a big goal, let's take one step at a time. We offer RE-Maker programs, and soon we will open Camp KOWA for Kids!
